Welcome to Urban Concepts! These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. General

Urban Concepts offers self-adhesive curtain rails and related products via our website to consumers in [Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Finland]. Prices are shown in [SEK / EUR / DKK] and include VAT at the rate applicable in the country of delivery, unless otherwise stated. We may change prices, offers, and our product range at any time, but changes never affect orders for which you have already received an order confirmation.

2. Orders and contract

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.

Before you place your order, you will be shown the product, its price, delivery costs, and the total amount. After you place your order, we send an order confirmation to the email address you provided. The contract between us takes effect when the order confirmation has been sent.

3. Payment

The payment providers we use are Shopify Payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and PayPal. To pay by invoice, email info@urbanconcepts.se.

Payment is made in accordance with the terms of the selected payment option.

4. Delivery and shipping

We deliver to [list of countries]. Estimated delivery times:

Sweden: 1-3 business days
Other countries: 3-7 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on stock status. Unless we have agreed otherwise, we will deliver your order without undue delay and no later than 30 days after you place it.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout. Shipping is free for orders over SEK 599 / EUR 79.95 / DKK 529.

We are responsible for the delivery of your order, including when a carrier is used. The risk for the goods passes to you when you, or a third party you have named (other than the carrier), receive them. If your order is delayed, you may have rights under mandatory consumer law, including the right to set a new deadline and, in some cases, to cancel the purchase.

5. Right of withdrawal and returns

Right to withdraw. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party you have named, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If you order several products in one order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last product.

How to withdraw. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email to info@urbanconcepts.se, by post to the address above, [or using the withdrawal function on our website]. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but you are not obliged to. You must send your notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Returning the goods. Please return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notified us of your withdrawal. Return address:

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please contact us at info@urbanconcepts.se before returning to receive return instructions.

Refund. If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we received your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We refund using the same payment method you used for the order. Additional costs arising from choosing a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard option will not be refunded.

Condition of returned goods. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Please return the goods in their original packaging where possible.

6. Defective products and statutory rights

If a product is defective or does not match what we agreed, you have rights under the mandatory consumer law of your country. Within the EU, these rights apply for at least two years from delivery (in Sweden, three years). Depending on the situation, you may be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced, to a price reduction, or to a refund.

Please contact us as soon as possible after discovering a defect at info@urbanconcepts.se, with your order number and a short description of the problem, preferably with photos. If the product is defective, we cover the cost of returning it.

7. Our commercial warranty

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase on our self-adhesive curtain rails. This warranty is voluntary and does not affect or limit your statutory rights described in section 6. The warranty means that we will replace or repair the product free of charge if the defect is due to a material or manufacturing fault that affects the function of the product, provided that installation was carried out according to our instructions.

For the warranty to apply:

You must be able to show the date of purchase and that the product was bought from us (receipt or order confirmation).
The product must have been installed, used, and maintained according to the enclosed instructions.
The product must not have been subjected to abnormal load, external damage, moisture, heat, or other conditions that do not correspond to the recommended use.

The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by incorrect installation, negligence, or modification of the product.
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes that do not affect function.
Consequential damage to other objects or surfaces where the product is installed.

Warranty claims are made in writing to info@urbanconcepts.se, with proof of purchase and a short description of the defect with photos.

8. Limitation of liability

Our self-adhesive curtain rails are intended to be mounted on clean, dry, smooth, and stable surfaces according to our installation instructions. You are responsible for making sure the surface is suitable before installation.

To the extent permitted by law, Urban Concepts is not liable for damage to ceilings, walls, or other surfaces resulting from incorrect installation, installation on unsuitable surfaces, or removal of the product. When removing the product, we recommend doing so carefully to minimize the risk of marks or damage.

This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, and it does not restrict any rights you have under mandatory consumer legislation.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@urbanconcepts.se so we can try to solve it together. If we cannot reach a solution, you can bring the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body:

Products & Use

We offer two versions of our self-adhesive, tool-free curtain track, so you can choose the one that best suits your curtains and ceiling:

Standard track
- Tested for loads up to 2.5 kg
- Suitable for most light to medium-weight curtains, e.g., voile, linen, and thinner cotton fabrics
- Slimmer profile that is less visible against the ceiling

Wide & Strong
- Tested for loads up to 3.5 kg
- Recommended for slightly heavier curtains such as lightweight blackout curtains
- 25% wider and more robust construction for extra stability under heavier loads

Yes, our curtain tracks are suitable for most light to medium-weight curtain types.
The standard track is tested for loads up to 2.5 kg, and our wider version, Wide & Strong, can handle up to 3.5 kg – perfect if you have lighter blackout curtains. See further down this page for more information about each model.

You remove the rails by applying heat to soften the tape; use, for example, a hair dryer or a heat gun on low heat and blow onto the tape until it softens, then detach the rail. Any remaining adhesive can be scraped off, and finally, wipe clean with a mild cleaning product.

We do, however, want to be transparent that we cannot guarantee that there will be no marks or damage, as all homes have different types of ceilings and surfaces that react in different ways. On the other hand, the risk is usually smaller than if you drill and then need to fill and repaint the ceiling.

It takes approximately 5–15 minutes, including preparation and assembly.

They work best on smooth, clean surfaces like painted ceilings.

We want to be transparent about the fact that we cannot guarantee that marks or damage will never occur, as ceilings and surfaces vary from home to home and react differently to adhesive. However, the risk is generally lower compared to drilling into the ceiling, which often leaves you needing to patch and repaint afterward. NOTE: The tracks are removed by applying heat to soften the tape; use, for example, a hairdryer or a heat gun.

Yes, we offer a 1-year warranty on our self-adhesive tracks rails. We stand behind our quality and are confident that they deliver on our promises. Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped from our Swedish warehouse with a normal delivery time of 3–7 business days.

Free shipping on purchases over €79.95. For purchases under €79.95, shipping costs €6.95.

Free shipping on purchases over 529DKK. For purchases under 529DKK, shipping costs 59DKK.

By law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

If you wish to make a return, please contact us at info@urbanconcepts.se before sending back your item. Approved returns must be unopened.

Please note that the customer is responsible for all costs associated with the return, including shipping, customs, VAT, and any other fees.
